Chandigarh, August 14:- Chandigarh Mayor Sh. Saurabh Joshi, today inaugurated the boring work for a new tube well in Daria Village in the presence of area Councillor Smt. Bimla Dubey. The project aimed at strengthening the local water supply and addressing long-standing drinking water concerns.

The Mayor said that total five new tube wells have been sanctioned for Daria Village, of which work on the second tube well commenced today. The project is expected to provide significant relief to residents and ensure improved availability of potable water in the area.

The Mayor said that ensuring reliable basic amenities and strengthening civic infrastructure remains a priority of the Municipal Corporation.

Former Deputy Mayor Sh. Anil Kumar Dubey, Sh. Mahendra Nath Dubey, Sh. Harish Sharma, Sh. J.P. Rana, Sh. Vinay Master, Prabha Singh, Heera Devi, Om Prakash Yadav, Harish Panth and local residents were present.

Local Residents expressed gratitude to the Mayor and the area councillor for the development initiative.
