One Person arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vikash Pandey R/o # 133 Vill Hallomajra Chandigarh from open ground near CPRF Wall, Hallo Majra Chandigarh on 23-01-2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A case FIR No. 10 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One Persons arrested in Excise Act.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohit Kumar Rathi R/o # 2/3, Vill. Khud Alisher Chandigarh from near cremation ground, vill. Khud alisher and recovered 48 quarters of Indian made liquor (180 ml each) from his possession. A case FIR No. 15 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused was arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No. 12 U/S 331(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Shyam Bahadur R/o # 93, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away cash Rs 35,000/- and documents from complainant’s shop no. 22/2, village Bhagwanpura Kishangarh Chandigarh in between 16-01-2026 & 22 01-2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
