One arrested under Arms Act

A case FIR No. 185 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station-11 on the complaint of HC Parveen Kumar, against Arun S/o Jai Bhagwan, who was arrested near Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Sector 24, Chandigarh, and one kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. Investigation of the case is in progress.

All accused arrested in Quarrel

A case FIR No. 115 u/s 118(1), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station-Ind. Area on the complaint of Bablu against Ashok, Subham Dubey, Vikash Deep, and Ashish Bahadur, who allegedly beat the complainant near Gali No. 1, Village Daria, Chandigarh. All accused have been arrested and kept in police lockup.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 133 u/s 316(2), 318(4), 336(3), 340(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered at Police Station-26 on the complaint of Neeraj Kumar, who alleged that Harneet Kaur and Yuvraj Sobti cheated him of ₹90,000 on the pretext of arranging a visa. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 134 u/s 316(2), 318(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station-26 on the complaint of Harkeerat Singh, alleging that Sukhbir Singh cheated him of ₹20,00,000 in a plot purchase deal. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 141 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC has been registered at Police Station–39 on the complaint of woman alleging that Priyanka Sharma, owner of AK Worldwide Immigration, and others cheated her of ₹8.5 lakh on the pretext of arranging a visa. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 143 u/s 308(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Cyber Crime Police Station on the complaint of a person, alleging that unknown cyber criminals cheated him of ₹85,00,000 through a fake digital arrest extortion scheme. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 197 u/s 305, 331(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station–34 on the complaint of Basant Lal, alleging that an unknown person stole gold chains, rings, mangal sutras, earrings, silver coins, and ₹60,000 cash by breaking the lock of his house on 09-12-2025.

Accident

A case FIR No. 255 u/s 281, 125(A), 125(B) BNS has been registered at Police Station–36 on the complaint of Usha, who was hit by car No. CH-01 AR-4133 driven by Swaran Nath near ISKCON Temple, Sector 36, Chandigarh, on 07-12-2025 at about 6:30 PM. The victim sustained injuries.
