CHANDIGARH,14.10.25-Dr Shefali K Sharma, Professor in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology Department of Internal Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh was bestowed to deliver the prestigious Indian Rheumatology Association (IRA) Oration on the 10th October in the Annual Conference of the Indian Rheumatology Association held at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi.The four-day conference was held from 9th October to 12th October in New Delhi. The meeting was attended by rheumatologist, researchers and students from across India and abroad.

Dr. Sharma also leads Scleroderma India a national initiative dedicated to improving awareness, early diagnosis and patient support for scleroderma. She actively conducts annual patient awareness programs at PGIMER, bringing together patients, families and health care professionals to promote understanding of the disease and holistic care.
