Ludhiana 08 May 2025-The cadets of 1 Pb R&V SQN NCC, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana demonstrated discipline, courage and strategic coordination during a meticulously organized mock drill at the unit premises of the University. The exercise was aimed at preparing the cadets for potential national emergencies and enhancing their tactical skills under simulated combat conditions. The exercise was planned as per directions of the district administration and also to prepare the NCC cadets for such emergencies, as National Cadet Corps is the second line of defense.

The mock drill showcased various war time scenarios including shelter management, first aid under fire, evacuation of injured persons, first aid and coordinated responses to simulated attacks by shielding yourself and helping others to prevent them from air attacks.

Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Vice-Chancellor lauded and motivated cadets and the entire team of NCC for undertaking this exercise. He said that this initiative is part of NCC’s broader goal to develop leadership and character among the youth and prepare them to serve the nation in times of need.

Col. A. Shrinivas Rao, Officer Commanding of the unit along with the Associate NCC Officers praised the cadets for their commitment, agility, and professionalism. Capt. Nittin Dev Singh and Lt. P.P. Dubey motivated the cadets and inspired them by telling them that once you are in uniform, your duty towards the nation increases manifold.
