Chandigarh (03.06.2023)The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chandigarh organised a State Level Nukkad Natak Competition to celebrate World Environment Day, 2023 where teams from different Institutions participated to create awareness on the theme Climate Change and Sustainable Development goals at Sukhna lake, Chandigarh. Occasion was graced by Chief Guest Deputy Commissioner Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh. The event showcased the talents and creativity of various participating teams, where NSS Open Unit bagged second position in the event. NITTR, aimed to promote and celebrate the art of street plays, bringing together talented students from across the region. NSS Open Unit, UT performance demonstrated their commitment to raising awareness on 'Climate Change Awareness for better tomorrow'.
State Liaison Officer (NSS) Dr. Nemi Chand and Principal Advisor Prof. Bikram Rana appreciated the team efforts held under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Sh. Binesh Bhatia. He further motivated volunteers to create more awareness among the community with the positive mindset. Unit Coordinator Ms. Ritika said that the thought-provoking play emphasized on social issues that are harmful for the environment which left a lasting impact on the jury and audience.
