The survey aimed at assessing all the municipal cities in the country for their progress on the government’s flagship Swachh Bharat Mission that was announced by Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs-Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri.

While most metropolitan Indian cities are laden with an acrid odor, wreck and litter, growing towns like Indore and Bhopal have managed to retain its title and have been proven that Madhya Pradesh is a star state in cleanliness.

Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh-Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan also congratulated and thanked residents for their efforts in keeping the city clean. I congratulate & thank all residents; it is due to their efforts that we have achieved such targets and hope to continue the same”.
