NEW DELHI,16.02.23-As we welcome spring with utmost gaiety, Delhi Tourism is all set to host 35th Garden Tourism Festival from 17 – 19 February, 2023 at Garden of Five Senses, Said-Ul-Ajaib Village, M.B. Road (Near Saket Metro Station). Delhi Tourism has been organizing this three day extravaganza for almost three decades now which showcases a variety of flora and fauna to charm garden enthusiasts.

India has assumed the Presidency of the G – 20 from 1st December 2022 upto 30th November, 2023. Hence, this year the theme of the festival is Garden of Unity for G-20. The venue spread over 20 acres of lush green will provide space for public leisure and the sprawling gardens filled with innumerable flowers will make for an unforgettable sight.

The 35th Garden Tourism Festival would be inaugurated on 17th February, 2023 by Sh. Manish Sisodia, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Tourism, GNCTD.

This annual festival presents floral displays, theme gardens, horticultural demonstrations and other activities. All the exhibits during GTF are evaluated by judges having dominion knowledge of respective horticulture area.

The Garden Tourism Festival is a great platform for Garden lovers to meet, interact and showcase their fruit of labor. This year some of the major participants during the festival are the horticulture departments of NDMC, DJB, SDMC, Northern Railways, Archaeological Survey of India, CPWD, Hero Moto Corp and others. Competitions would be organized in 32 categories such as potted plants, Dahlia, Hanging Baskets, Foliages Plants, Cactus and Succulents, Aromatic / Herbal and Medicinal Plant, Bonsai Plants of different specifications, Bougainvillea, Floral Animal, Tray Garden, Theme Garden, Annual cut flowers in earthen vases, Vegetables Flower Decoration, Flower arrangements and roses etc.

All the exhibits during Garden Tourism Festival would be evaluated by judges having domain knowledge. There would be separate sections to sell the plants, horticulture equipments, pesticides, fertilizers and other general items etc. This will provide an added advantage for the visitors to buy gardening equipments and saplings under one roof.

Over 300 varieties of plants to be on display.

Display of Terrariums, Floral Animals, Potted Plants, Foliage, Medicinal & Herbal Plants, Hanging Baskets, Dahlia, Roses, Cacti, Bonsai, Bougainvillea, cut flowers, nursery stalls etc.

Sale of flowers, plants, organic items, books, medicinal plants, gardening accessories, etc.

Cultural events where various amateurs musicians, music bands and other artists would performers…….

Cultural Performances by various academies of Delhi Govt.

Activities like Magic show, On the spot painting competition for children.

Take some time out and spend some serene moments in lap of nature!

Delhi Tourism will provide free Shuttle Service from Saket Metro Station (T-Point) to venue and back.
