New Delhi-Dated: 10th March’2023-Three day – Delhi Tourism Food Festival as part of initiatives to promote tourism in Delhi inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Ms. Atishi Marlena at Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, New Delhi on this occasion MD & CEO Delhi Tourism Ms Niharika Rai, Ms. Geetika Sharma, General Manager, Delhi Tourism were also present along with other dignitaries.

This is an opportunity to relish delicacies from around the country and international cuisine under one roof. This extravaganza is creating awareness about international and Indian food delicacies and provide knowledge on nutritional value and preparation.

Delhi Tourism is offering space for the setting up of Food Stalls. On site electrical, water facility and dustbins to ensure cleanliness during the event. Logistic support to all the participants is being provided by Delhi Tourism.

Indian cuisine reflects an eight-thousand-year history of various groups and cultures interacting with the Indian subcontinent, leading to diversity of flavours and regional cuisines found in modern-day India. Later, trade with British and Portuguese influence added to the already diverse Indian cuisine.

To more attractive the fest, cultural programmes are being organised by Sahitya Kala Parishad for entertainment of visitors. Today band performance by Mirgya appreciated by the visitors. The performance of Indian Ocean band on 11.3.23 and Parikrma on 12.3.23) would also attract the thousands of visitors. The Festival opens 11 am to 11 pm and entry is free for all from gate no.3 and 4.
