Pakistani leaders are issuing hollow threats, but India will not fall for Pakistan’s bluster – Vij
Chandigarh, August 13 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that the Congress Party in Haryana has been functioning without any organisation for the last 11 years, and moreover, Congress does not even know how to build one. He added that the Congress is creating its organisation in the manner of an agency’s distributorship.
He further stated that at present, the people of Pakistan are passing through a very miserable situation, while Pakistani leaders are engaging in empty, threatening rhetoric (“gidarbhavki”), but India will not be swayed by Pakistan’s bluster.
Sh. Vij was responding to a question asked by the media persons regarding the Congress forming an organisation in the state after 11 years.
Sh. Vij said that in democratic parties, elections are first held at the block (mandal) level, then at the district level, followed by the state level, and finally at the national level. However, in the Congress, the process is akin to distributing ghee agency rights — starting from appointing a national distributor, then state-level distributors, and finally district-level distributors. “Now, Congress has appointed its district-level presidents, and they will next appoint at the local level,” he said.
Responding to a question regarding Pakistan’s statements over the waters of the Indus, Sh. Vij said that India will not be influenced by Pakistan’s hollow threats. He asserted that the people of Pakistan are in an extremely miserable condition because there is a lack of food and essentials, inflation is soaring, and numerous other problems persist in the country. To divert the public’s attention from these issues, Pakistani leaders are making such statements in an attempt to save their positions and pacify their citizens.
He added that “Just as in Operation Sindoor, Pakistan’s arrogance was crushed and it was taught a lesson, making it come to its senses, the same resolve remains today.”
