A Case FIR No. 127 U/S 303(2) BNS added 317(2) has been registered in police Station Sector-11 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sector-25 Chandigarh against Rajesh @ Ubla R/o # 2594 Sec-25 Chandigarh who stole away complainant cash box in her rehri from Mandi Market Sector 25, Chandigarh on 10-08-2025. During investigation, the accused person has been arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Gurwinder Singh @ Gourav R/o # 281 Ward No. 12 Malkana Patti District Patiala Punjab near SCO No. 62 back side showroom Sector 26 Chandigarh and recovered one pistol 0.45 bore and 6 live cartridges along with license issued by Punjab govt. A Case FIR No. 86 U/S 223 BNS & Added 25 54-59 Arms Act, has been registered in the police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh. Later on, the accused was released on bail. Two arrested in consuming liquor at Public Place.

Chandigarh Police arrested Raja Kumar R/o # 1819 Sec-45 Chandigarh near Local Bus Stand ISBT Sec-17, Chandigarh on dated 10-08-2025, while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No. 128 U/S 68-1(B) PP ACT 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in the police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh Later on accused released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rakesh Kumar R/o # 2735 DMC Sector-38/W near 42/43 Small Chowk, Chandigarh on dated 10-08-2025, while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No. 173 U/S 68-1(B) PP ACT 2007 & 355 BNS has been registered in the police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh Later on the accused was released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 172 U/S 303(2) BNS has been registered in the police Station Sector-36 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Sunshine Enclave VIP Road Zirakpur Punjab against unknown person who stole away 1 gold chain, 3 Gold Ring, 1 earring Set, 1 Laptop, 38000/- Cash, Original D/L, Pan Card from her car after broken the glass which was parked in parking Kisan Bhawan Sector-35, Chandigarh. A Case FIR No. 127 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS, 24 Immigration act has been registered in the police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Rahul Toora R/o VPO Mahil Tehsil- Banga SBS Nagar Nawanshahr Punjab and Others against one lady, and others R/o # SCO No 110/111 2nd floor Sector 17/C Chandigarh They cheated with complainant’s RS 33,52,000/- approx regarding visa. A Case FIR No. 66 U/S 118(1) BNS has been registered in the police Station Manimajra Chandigarh on the complaint of Sachin S/o Dilbar R/o # 148 Village-Dhanas Chandigarh against Sahil S/o Anil who attacked On complainant from NAC Market on 10-08-2025 complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32 Chandigarh. A Case FIR No. 105 U/S 304-A, 34 IPC has been registered in the police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Madan Pal R/o # 3245 Sec-47/D Chandigarh against Dr. Kuldeep Singh (owner of Santokh Hospital) R/o # 846 Sector- 38/A Chandigarh, Dr. Gurnad Singh & Dr. Ravinder R/o # Shop No. 653 Sector-70 Mohali Punjab. The complainant alleged that his wife was under treatment and operation on 27-11-2020 & she died on 07-12-2020 due to negligence of these doctors at Santokh Hospital Sector-38/A Chandigarh.
