Six arrested in Robbery case

A Case FIR No. 115 u/s 310(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station 26 on the complaint of Sh. Shakil R/o Village Daira, Chandigarh. He reported that six persons robbed his purse containing ₹210/- cash and documents at a sharp-edge weapon point near his house at #80, Sector-28A, Chandigarh, on 13-09-2026 at about 9:30 AM. During investigation, all six accused namely Divyanshu, Suraj, Shetla Parsad, Lucky @ Hakla, Shivam @ Nahdeshi and Aman @ Kamla were arrested and are in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Four (04) arrested under NDPS ACT

A Case FIR No. 87 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Manimajra against Vasu @ Udesh S/o Lt. Sh. Rajpal, R/o #938, Bara Mal Kua, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, was apprehended near DC Montessori School, Mani Majra, on 13-09-2026 at about 8:15 PM and 12.71 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 124 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at PS-34 against Avtar Singh @ Tari R/o Village Durali, PS Sohana, District Mohali, Punjab, was apprehended near Government School, Village Burail, on 13-09-2026 and 21.57 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 154 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station 36 against Saurabh R/o #374/1, near Shiv Mandir, Village Kajheri, Sector-52, Chandigarh, was apprehended from Slip Road, Sector-43, near Kajheri Chowk, on 13-09-2026 at about 6:30 PM and 15.40 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. He is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 113 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Maloya against Vikram R/o #2457/3, EWS Colony, Maloya, Chandigarh, aged 21 years, was apprehended near Cremation Ground, Village Dadu Majra, on 13-09-2026 at about 5:05 AM and 10.20 grams of chita/heroin was recovered from his possession. He was arrested and is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three arrested consuming liquor at Public place

A Case FIR No. 47 u/s 68(1)B PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station 19 against Arun was apprehended near Hockey Stadium, Sector-18B, Chandigarh, on 13-09-2026 while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place. He was bailed out later on. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 136 u/s 68(1)B PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran against Farukh R/o Village Bhudhanpur, P.K.L., Haryana, was apprehended near Baba Parking, Mauli Jagran, on 13-09-2026 at about 8:30 PM while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place. He was bailed out later on. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 137 u/s 68(1)B PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran against Sahil R/o Village Bhudhanpur, P.K.L., Haryana, was apprehended near PS Mauli Jagran Chowk on 13-09-2026 at about 8:55 PM while consuming liquor and creating nuisance at a public place. He was bailed out later on.

One arrested under ARMS ACT

A Case FIR No. 87 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station IT Park on the complaint of HC Amit 6408/CP. Accused Sakiv S/o Aslam, R/o #1043, Mori Gate, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, was apprehended from the backside of Tech. Mahindra, IT Park, Chandigarh, on 13-09-2026 at about 3:40 PM and one Kamanidar knife was recovered from his possession. Accused is in police lock-up. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under EXCISE ACT

A Case FIR No. 88 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station IT Park against Mandeep R/o #1213, New Indira Colony, Chandigarh, was apprehended from the parking area of IT Park on 13-09-2026 at about 7:50 PM and 60 quarters of country-made liquor were recovered from his possession. He was bailed out later on. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested under COTPA ACT

A Case FIR No. 111 u/s 4(A), 20(A) COTPA Act has been registered at Police Station Maloya on the complaint of ASI Sulender DCC Sector-24 against Situ Mukhwana , R/o #638, Phase-I, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, aged 50 years, manager of Green House Cafe, Maloya, was found serving hookah at Green House Cafe, Maloya, on 13-09-2026 at about 12:50 AM. The accused was arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
