A Case FIR No.111 U/S 304(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Sunder Nagar Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against two unknown motorcyclist number not known sped away after snatched complainant gold locket from near Market Vikash Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 08-08-2026. During the investigation two accused namely Manga @ sunny R/o# Village Nangle District Fatehgarh Sahib Punjab and Gurjit Singh R/o # 128 Village Mauli Jagran Chandigarh were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 101 U/S 125(a), 125(b), 281 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # , New Indira Colony Chandigarh against Gurcharan Singh R/o Bhainsa Tibba Panchkula (Haryana) who hit to complainant near market committee Sector-26 on 15-04-2026.Complainant got sustain injured and admitted GMSH-16 Chandigarh and later on refer to PGI Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
One person arrested in Arms Act
Chandigarh Police arrested Manpreet @ Sonu @ Baggal R/o Village Rukna Mungla Distt. Firozpur (Punjab) from near dividing road Sector- 46 A/D, Chandigarh on dated 09-08-2026 and recovered one pistol .03 bore with 4 live cartridges from their possession. A case FIR No. 118 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Theft case
A case FIR No.110 U/S 305(E), 324(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on the complaint of Daljit Singh R/o # 13 water works complex Sector-37/A Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant 3 CCTV cameras installed by the mc Chandigarh from the MP funds near # 211, 273 and 64, whereas one of CCTV camera has been damaged. Investigation of this case is in progress.
Robbery case
A case FIR No. 68 U/S 309(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial Area Chandigarh on the complaint of Mahesh Kumar R/o # 712/12, Ph-1 BDC Sector-26 Chandigarh against 4 unknown person who dragged him into a dark part, physically assaulted and robbed rupees 5000/- cash and mobile phone under threat and physical violence he was forced to disclose his phone pass code and UPI pin leading to 4 unauthorized transaction totaling 81,400/- from his bank account. Investigation of this case is in progress.
