One arrested under NDPS Act
A Case FIR No. 68 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI Ajay Kumar 1877/CHG against Gulshan S/o Suresh Bandwan R/o House No. 725/11, Bapu Dham Colony, Sector-26, Chandigarh, aged 32 years, who was apprehended near Block No. 72/5, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 29.05.2026 and found in possession of 11.56 grams of heroin. The accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Two arrested under Cyber Crime (Cheating)
A Case FIR No. 75 u/s 317(2), 49, 61(2) BNS has been registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Chandigarh against Bheema Saroj S/o Ram Kishun R/o #292, Near Krishna Mandir, Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh and Salman Ansari S/o Samik Ansari R/o Village Millakh, Mullanpur, Mohali (PB) for operating mule bank accounts used by cyber fraud syndicates to receive and route proceeds of crime obtained through investment frauds, part-time job scams, digital arrest scams and other cyber frauds. Both accused were arrested and sent to Burail Jail. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 76 u/s 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Cyber Crime Police Station, Chandigarh on the complaint of Shubham Kumar Goyal S/o Sh. Vinod Kumar R/o #1489, Sector-45, Chandigarh against an unknown person who allegedly cheated the complainant of Rs. 5,50,142/- on the pretext of investment in digital currency through Telegram. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 54 u/s 305 BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajan Kumar S/o Inder Mohan R/o D-202, Sector-70, Mohali against an unknown person who stole an HP laptop, hard disk and two pen drives from House No. 127, Sector-10/A, Chandigarh on 29.05.2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A Case FIR No. 69 u/s 281, 125 BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Puran S/o Bhopal R/o #2057, Phase-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh, aged 62 years against an unknown car driver who allegedly hit the complainant’s younger brother Satpal, who was riding a bicycle near Jain Mandir, Sector-27 Market, Chandigarh on 30.05.2026 at about 1:15 PM and fled from the spot. The victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 88 u/s 304(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ridyansh Sharma S/o Sh. Pawan Kumar Sharma R/o House No. 3850, 2nd Floor, Sector-32D, Chandigarh against an unknown person riding Splendor Motorcycle No. BR22AU2420, who allegedly snatched the complainant’s Apple iPhone 16 near Japanese Garden, Sector-31, Chandigarh on 29.05.2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.
