Jalandhar, 01.04.26-; In a strong endorsement of emerging women led innovation in India’s health tech landscape, the startup secured top honours at SheCohort 4.0, a Government of Punjab backed initiative recognising high impact entrepreneurial ventures. As part of this achievement, FemoraAI has been awarded a seed grant of ₹0.75 lakh, while its co-founder Amulya Ponnala has also been selected as an Ambassador for the She Community. The recognition highlights a growing shift towards intelligent, purpose driven technologies addressing real world health challenges.
FemoraAI, developed by LPU’s third year B.Tech CSE students Ramanjit Singh (Founder and CEO) and Amulya Ponnala (Founder and CTO), is an AI powered women’s wellness platform designed to decode and predict menstrual cycles with clinical precision, especially for Indian users.
Beyond prediction, the platform enables women to align their daily routines with their biological cycles, supporting better energy management, informed decision making, and preventive care.
Congratulating the team, Member of Parliament Rajya Sabha and Founder Chancellor of LPU Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal stated that the achievement is a reflection of LPU’s EduRevolution philosophy, where education extends beyond classrooms into the realm of purposeful innovation. Dr. Mittal remarked that the university is cultivating a new generation of entrepreneurs who approach technology not merely as a tool, but as a means to address complex societal challenges with sensitivity and depth. FemoraAI stands as a compelling example of how innovation driven by empathy and research can transform lives at scale, said Dr. Mittal.
