Chandigarh, January 19:- A high-level meeting to review the implementation of the Chandigarh Single Parking Pass System was held today under the Chairmanship of Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh. The meeting was attended by the Joint Commissioner-II and representatives of Bank of Baroda, the technology partner for the initiative.

During the meeting, the proposed application/online portal for issuance of digital parking passes for parking locations across Chandigarh was examined in detail.

The deliberations focused on system architecture, user interface, security features, and seamless integration to ensure a hassle-free experience for citizens.

The Commissioner emphasized that the initiative is a key step towards modernizing urban parking management and aligns with the Municipal Corporation’s vision of “One City, One Pass – Chandigarh Parking of MCC”. Valuable inputs and constructive suggestions were shared with the Bank of Baroda team to further enhance the portal’s functionality, accessibility, and robustness.

It was further decided that a follow-up meeting will be convened shortly to review the updated application/portal and to finalize the launch modalities for implementation at Chandigarh parking sites.
