Chandigarh, October 26: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi shared thoughts that touched the hearts of millions during the 127th edition of his popular radio programme Mann Ki Baat.
Sh. Vij listened to the broadcast live along with eminent citizens at the Indian Roller Restaurant in Ambala Cantonment. Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said that, as every month, Prime Minister Modi’s words were once again full of inspiration and guidance for the people of the nation.
The Energy Minister said that, as always, people across the country gathered in various places to listen to Mann Ki Baat. “Prime Minister Modi spoke about the importance of our ancient language Sanskrit and emphasized that the love and respect for Sanskrit is being rekindled across the country. This is a wonderful sign of reconnecting with the roots of Indian culture,” he added.
Sh. Vij further said that the Prime Minister mentioned the national song Vande Mataram, reminding everyone that during the freedom struggle, the song infused boundless energy and patriotism among the revolutionaries.
He also shared that Prime Minister Modi spoke about India’s festivals and traditions, including Chhath Puja, which reflects India’s cultural unity and deep-rooted faith. The Prime Minister also highlighted the growing international demand for Indian coffee, underscoring its rich quality.
Sh. Vij noted that through Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Modi establishes a meaningful dialogue with people by touching upon a wide range of subjects every month. “The Prime Minister always connects emotionally with every section of society through his words,” he added.
