Chandigarh, October 2025 – As the festival of lights approaches, NGO Tammana continues its tradition of spreading joy and inclusivity through its Diwali initiative “Light A Life” – Event 172, to be held on Sunday Morning, 12th October 2025, at Village Singhpura, Zirakpur.

The event will include distribution of earthen diyas, gifts, refreshments, mustard oil bottles, and engaging diya-painting activities with more than 40 children, aiming to bring smiles, creativity, and festive warmth to less privileged sections of society.

“This Diwali too, we want to go beyond lighting our own homes” , said Isha Kakaria, Founder President of NGO Tammana. “Every diya painted by a child carries the spark of hope and joy. Our goal is to nurture that spark and remind everyone that the true spirit of Diwali lies in sharing happiness and togetherness.”

Since its inception in 2008, NGO Tammana has organized over 170 impactful events, working tirelessly towards social causes ranging from education and healthcare to empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Speaking about the event logistics, Meenakshi Mahajan, Office Coordinator, shared, “The preparations are in full swing. Our team members are excited to celebrate with the children and ensure a memorable Diwali for everyone involved.”

The initiative aims to spread festive cheer, encourage art, inclusivity, and community bonding under #ProjectYakeen.
