CHANDIGARH, 18.09.25-Mr. Prashant Kumar Goyal, Joint Secretary, DFS, Government of India, was the Chief Guest, joined by Mr. Navneet Singh, DGM, RBI Chandigarh. They were welcomed by Mr. T.C. Meena, Deputy Zonal Head, and Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Regional Head, Central Bank of India.

The Joint Secretary outlined Jan Dhan–linked insurance schemes—Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana—while urging customers to update KYC to help prevent fraud.
The event saw a strong turnout of local customers and promoted affordable insurance for financial security.
