MAHENDERGARH, 06.09.25-On the sixth day of the ongoing Faculty Development Program on ‘Indian Knowledge Systems: Transforming the Landscape of Higher Education,’ a collaborative initiative organised by the School of Law at Central University of Haryana and the School of Legal Studies at K R Manglam University, the esteemed resource person, Prof. Himanshu Pandey, Head and Dean of the School of Law at Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, MP, delivered an insightful talk on ‘Academic Spirituality: A Way Towards Self-oriented Education,’ wherein he articulated that struggles are a necessary catalyst for personal growth and virtue, emphasizing the Indian ethos of karma theory and urging participants to perform their duties with utmost honesty and justice while reframing obstacles not as ‘problems’ but as ‘challenges’ to be overcome. Following the session, Dr. Pardeep Singh, Head and Dean of the School of Law at Central University of Haryana, shared that this program is a significant initiative undertaken under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, and extended appreciation to the School of Legal Studies at K R Manglam University for their valuable collaboration, noting that over 100 participants from diverse academic streams across the nation are benefiting from this extensive FDP, which is scheduled to continue until September 12, 2025, with many more experts from various specialisations set to deliver lectures on the crucial theme of Indian Knowledge Systems in the coming days.
