CM felicitates Vice-President at Raj Bhavan

SHIMLA -6 June, 2025-Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu called on Vice-President of India Jagdeep Dhankhar at Raj Bhavan today in a courtesy call.

The Chief Minister honoured the Vice-President by presenting him a traditional Himachali cap, shawl, and a memento. He also presented traditional handcraft products made by self-help groups under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh.

During the interaction, both dignitaries held discussions on various developmental issues pertaining to the State.

Secretary, General Administration Rajesh Sharma, Secretary to the Governor C.P. Verma and other senior officials were also present during the meeting.

Vice President meets Chief Minister at Oak Over

The Vice President of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar, met Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at his official residence, Oak Over, today.

The Chief Minister warmly welcomed the Vice President and honoured him with a traditional Kinnauri muffler, Himachali cap, and a Kangra painting as a token of Himachal’s rich cultural heritage.

During the meeting, the two leaders engaged in discussions on various development initiatives and projects underway in the state.

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh, Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, and MLA's Sanjay Awasthi, Ajay Solanki and Smt Kamlesh Thakur were also present on the occasion.
