CHANDIGARH,17 August 2025-In village Dadwa Ward No. 9, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi protested by taking out a torch procession in Ward 9 Dariya against the vote rigging being done by the Election Commission and BJP in collusion. Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said that the central government of the country is bent on killing democracy. The Bharatiya Janata Party is engaged in stealing votes in the country through the Election Commission, against them, today Rahul Gandhi has started a journey from Bihar to give a message to the whole country, he will go to different districts of Bihar. people have understood that the Bharatiya Janata Party is stealing people's votes. He said that the press conference held by the Election Commission today has neither any strength nor any logic. Election Commission is not presenting the digital voter list because it is clearly evident that there has been manipulation of votes.
He said that what opposition leader Rahul Gandhi is saying has weight and Election Commission and BJP cannot reject it without any reason. He said that the citizens of the country have come to know that there has been manipulation of votes. Bansal said that this is a fight to save democracy in which everyone will have to participate together so that some officials of the Central Government and Election Commission are stealing votes and it can be stopped.
Taking this campaign forward, today in Chandigarh we have taken out a torch procession under the campaign 'Vote kar gaadi chhod Mahim'. In the coming days, this procession will be taken out at various places in Chandigarh.
The organizer of the program and former National Convenor of Youth Congress Ashish Ghaznavi said that India is a democratic country and the book of the Constitution, its foundation, its foundation is "One Man, One Vote" i.e. the Constitution gives every Indian citizen the right to vote according to his will but BJP and its allies are attacking these rights. Attempts are being made to destroy the institutions of India. The country is run by the Constitution and its laws and not by dictatorship. He said that under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, we will continue this fight to save the Constitution and democracy.
