CHANDIGARH, 26.02.26-The Department of Fashion Designing, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector 32-C, Chandigarh, organized a lecture titled “Ensuring Excellence in Textile Quality Assurance Strategies & Best Practices” on 26 February 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, in the Fashion Designing Department. The resource person, Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha, a Techno-Management Expert and Textile Industry Leader, shared his professional experiences and industry insights. The lecture began with a welcome address by Ms. Sumita Sikka, HOD, Department of Fashion Designing. Mr. Sanjay guided the students through industry insights regarding the stages of quality control.

Mr. Sanjay Kulshrestha discussed Total Quality Management, process optimization, quality control tools, and best practices in textiles, highlighting their role in brand value, customer satisfaction, and sustainability. Students gained insights into fabric inspection, defect analysis, and supply chain coordination, and explored career opportunities in textile quality management.

The lecture was organized with the objective of acquainting students with industry-driven quality standards, operational excellence practices, and practical insights into textile manufacturing and management. It was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sumita Sikka with the organizing committee comprising Ms. Tania Sharma, Ms. Dikshita Chauhan, Ms. Rupali Jindal and Ms. Mannjot Kaur.
