MAHENDERGARH, 25.02.26-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh, was inspected on 24 February 2026 by the First Sub-Committee of the Parliamentary Official Language Committee. The Sub-Committee reviewed the use, promotion, and effective implementation of Official Language Hindi across the University and rated the overall performance as excellent.
Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Convener of the First Sub-Committee, appreciated CUH for its effective use of Hindi and remarked that the University has set an exemplary benchmark in implementing the Official Language Policy. He emphasized that Hindi plays a vital role in ensuring administrative transparency and efficiency.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor expressed his delight at the recognition and reiterated the University’s commitment to the promotion and effective implementation of Hindi. He stated that Hindi is not only a language of administration but also a reflection of India’s cultural identity and national unity.
Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, highlighted that regular workshops, training programmes, and awareness initiatives are organized to strengthen the implementation of the Official Language Policy. He expressed confidence that the Sub-Committee’s guidance would further reinforce Hindi usage in the University.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar, said that regular reviews of Hindi usage are conducted across all sections of the University, and quarterly progress reports are submitted in a timely manner. The Official Language Section also organizes competitions and incentive schemes to encourage the use of Hindi.
