MAHENDERGARH, 14.10.25-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh is celebrating a landmark achievemenin the latest Times Higher Education (THE) rankings, CUH has been placed among the 1001–1200 bracket of universities global level. In honour of this success, IQAC convened a meeting with faculty members and stakeholders, and where Vice Chancellor Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar presented a forward roadmap for the university’s advancement.
Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar highlighted CUH’s earned 44th rank nationally and first position in Haryana, and said that achieving this in the very first attempt proves that “our momentum will not stop now.” Speaking about the campus environment, Prof. Takeshwar Kumar emphasized the importance of fostering high-quality research, aligning academic efforts with industry needs, and continuing the support for innovation. He urged all contributors to maintain their dedication and sense of belonging in the university’s future growth.
Earlier, in his remarks, Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Pawan Kumar Sharma referred to the Times Higher Education rankings and expressed gratitude to Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar for his visionary leadership and direction. He observed that CUH is progressing more remarkably than many peer central universities, and credited the success to hardwork of faculty and other staff of the university for maximizing the university’s capabilities.
Director IQAC Prof Surender Singh briefed about university’s initiatives in research, innovation, and resource development, affirming his vision that a day is not far off when CUH will stand as a prestigious institution on the national and international stage.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University also expressed gratitude to Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar for his visionary leadership and direction and assured that the momentum of success will continue, and reiterated collective commitment to further excellence. The program was attended by Dean Research Prof Neelam Sangwan, Dean Academic Prof Pawan Kumar Maurya, other deans of various schools, IQAC deputy Director, Prof. Suman Dahiya, heads of departments, and faculty members.
