CHANDIGARH, 03.04.22-South 1 branch of Bharat VIkas Parishad Chandigarh celebrated the new year “vikrami Samvat “2079 in a unique manner by donating grocery items to the leprosy ashram sector 47.

Over 150 kg of grocery items which included 90 kg rice ,15 kg sugar , 15 kg dals ,17 litres edible oil , were handed over to the concerned authorised persons at the ashram. Besides, 10 sandwich breads were also given to them. The cost of these items were contributed by kind hearted members of the branch.

The members who participated in the activity included Shri P K Sharma, President, South Zone, Shri K L Chouhan Auditor chandigarh Prant, Shri Bishambhar Nath, Shri Ram Pal Aeri, Shri Amarjit Garg, Shri Subhash Sawal, Shri Shakti sharma, Shri Ram Gopal Jain, Shri R C Setia, Shri Shashi Guglani,Mrs. Kanchan MALHOTRA Mrs Uma Bhandari and Mrs Mohinder Kaur. The team was led by Dr M K Virmani, president and Shri Satish Kumar, Treasurer of south 1 Branch Chandigarh.
