Chandigarh Police arrested Sunil Kumar R/o # 1496, Chaman Colony Dhanas Chd age 41 Year from near wine shop Milk Colony Dhanas, Chandigarh on 07-09-2025 While drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No. 54 U/S 68-1(B) PP ACT. & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station -Sarangpur Chandigarh. Later on accused released on bail. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested under Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested a boy R/o # Distt- Pkl. (Hr) age-17 years from near veterinary hospital Manimajra Chandigarh from near Rally Ground Sec-25, Chd on 07-09-2025 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No. 60 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 95 u/s 305, 317(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Arvin R/o Vill- Badarpur Disst- Karnal (Hr) age- 40 yrs against VICKY R/o # 291, Phase-1, BDC Sec-26, Chandigarh age-21 yrs WHO stolen away complainant mobile phone from TPT area parking Sec-26 on 07-09-2025. During the course of investigation, the said accused has been arrested. Investigation of this case is in Progress.

A Case FIR No. 138 u/s 305 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Shyam Kumar R/o # 221, Sec 22/A, Chd against unknown person who stolen away 20 taps and bolt of washbasins and washroom from complainant’s house on 07-09 2025. A Case FIR No. 139 U/S 318(4), 61(2) BNS 7 24 Immigration Act, has been registered in Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady R/o Distt. Una (HP) and others against Sunandan, Pankaj and others of ‘Nexusglide Overseas Consultant’ SCO No 76-79, 3rd Floor, Sec- 17/D, Chd. They cheated with Complainant’s Rs. 29,09,500/- regarding VISA. A Case FIR No. 145 U/S 318(4), 316(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Sanjay Kumar R/o VILL- Karanpur Madhuban (UP) and other against Udayveer Singh and others R/o K9 Immigration SCO No. 85-86, Cabin No. 305-306, 3rd Floor Sec 34/A, Chandigarh. They cheated with complainant’s Rs. 22,00,000/- regarding Visa. Investigation of this case is in Progress.
