CHANDIGARH, 07.09.25-As per the directions of W/SSP/UT Ms. Kanwardeep Kaur, IPS under the close guidance of Ms. KM Priyanka, IPS, W/SP/City Chandigarh and under the supervision of Ms. Gurjeet Kaur, CPS, DSP/South a team of officials of Police Station-34, Chandigarh has achieved a major success by arresting one theif. The team headed by Insp. Satinder Kumar, SHO/34 alongwith SI Suresh Kumar No. 1296/CHG, ASI Deepanshu No. 1876/CHG, Ct. Parveen No. 5134/CP and Ct. Sukhdeep No. 2750/CP has arrested two accused in snatching case and snatched mobile make OPPO A 38 along with two other mobiles i.e. Realme and Samsung have been recovered from their possession and Motor Cycle used in crime also recovered also taken into police possession.

Brief Facts:

It is submitted that above Case FIR No. 142 dated 05.06.2025 U/s 304, 3(5) Bhartiya Naya Sanhita 2023, Chandigarh was registered on the complainant of Sanjeev Kumar s/O Vijay Singh R/O House No. 18, Kansal Punjab Age 22 years, in which he stated that he living in rent with his friends and he is doing guard duty at Kotak Mahindra Bank in Sec 46 CHD, on Dt 01-09-2025 at around 09:45 PM, when he was coming for work on his bicycle, when he reached near beat box sector 46 CHD, then two boys came from blackside on bike without helmet driver wearing a yellow shirt and pillion rider sitting on the bike snatched his phone make Oppo A-38 Black Color in which SIM Jio was 6006275824 and both of them looked back at me and run away from the spot. On that day Dt 01.09.25, he was in shock and was not in a position to give statement, he can recognize both the boys when they come in front.

Arrest of accused:

Accused Dilkhush Kumar S/O Kunil Singh R/O V.P.O Kumra Sector 68 Mohali PB, Age - 19 years, Occupation- Labor work and Rahul Kumar @ Langda S/O Samay Singh R/O V.P.O Kumra Sector 68 Mohali PB. Age- 27 years were arrested on 06.09.2025 and one day police remand have been obtained, during further investigation snatched mobile make OPPO A 38 along with two other mobiles i.e. Realme and Samsung have been recovered from their possession and Motor Cycle used in crime also recovered taken into police possession.

On 06.09.2025, accused produced before the court and one day police remand has been obtained, today accused persons produced before the court and sent to judicial custody.
