Chandigarh,11.01.26- Dr Rupesh K Singh will continue as the Chairman of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Chandigarh Chapter for the 2025–26 term to make his third consecutive year in the same role. The decision was taken unanimously at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of PRCI Chandigarh Chapter held at the UT Guest House. The AGM also unanimously reaffirmed Sudeep Rawat as Secretary for a third consecutive term. Dr Priya Chadha has been appointed as the new Vice President while Lalit Sharma will serve as Joint Secretary. Pavittar Singh will continue in his role as Treasurer.
The AGM proceedings were reviewed by Vivek Atray, former IAS and North Zone Chairman, PRCI, CJ Singh, Director, National Council, PRCI and Renuka Salwan, former Director, Public Relations, Panjab University, and Senior Executive Vice President, PRCI.
The newly inducted members of the Executive Committee include Sanjay Daniel Banerjee, Ojaswwee Sharma, Amardeep Singh, Renu Yadav, Priya Ranjan and Surinder Verma.
During the meeting, members discussed the roadmap for the 2026–27 tenure. Key focus areas include the MFI–PRCI Awards, hosting of the PRCI Global Communication Conclave by the Chandigarh Chapter and several other professional development and knowledge-sharing initiatives aimed at strengthening the public relations fraternity in the region.
