One persons arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Vishal R/o # 1937, Village Mauli Jagran Complex Chandigarh from near Vikash nagar light point on 11.10.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 169 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Two persons arrested in Theft Case

A case FIR No.172 U/S 303(2), 317(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Ajay Singh R/o # 711/C BSNL Colony Sector 36 Chandigarh against Raja Babu R/o # 54 gali no 2 Khushi Enclave Village Jhampur Mohali Punjab and Mh. Minaj R/o # 40 gali no 4 krishna Enclave Jhampur Mohali Punjab. They stole away BSNL Cable near Sector 37/38 dividing road Sector 38 side on 11-10-2026. During the investigation both accused persons were arrested. Investigation of this is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No 189 U/S 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 31 Chandigarh on the complaint of Sudhir Rana R/o # 535, Victoria City Zirakpur Punjab against driver of vehicle no HR12AD- 8974 who sped away after hit to complainant activa no PB70D-8357 near Airport light point on 10.10.2026. Victim sustained injuries and was admitted to GMCH-32 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Robbery

A Case FIR no 87 U/S 309(4), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur Chandigarh on the complaint of Pappu Kuamr R/o # 135 Village Dhanas Chandigarh against unknown three persons they robbed complainant purse containing cash Rs. 3500/- Aadhar card and pan card on knife point from near R/o # 1072, Housing board Colony Dhanas on 11.10.2026. Investigation of this case is in progress.
