Chandigarh, September 22, 2026: The Election Commission of India had announced the third phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) on May 14, 2026, covering 16 States and three Union Territories, including U.T. Chandigarh.

In accordance with the prescribed schedule, the Final Electoral Roll for the 01-Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency was published today, with July 1, 2026, as the qualifying date.

A meeting with representatives of recognised political parties was also held today under the chairmanship of Shri Amandeep Singh Bhatti, PCS, Electoral Registration Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner, U.T. Chandigarh.

The Electoral Registration Officer informed the representatives about the various stages of the revision process, including the enumeration phase and the publication of the Draft and Final Electoral Rolls. In accordance with the instructions of the Election Commission of India, copies of the Final Electoral Roll were also handed over to the representatives.

As on September 22, 2026, a total of 4,60,209 electors are registered in the Final Electoral Roll of the 01-Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency.

The Final Electoral Roll is available on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer, U.T. Chandigarh, at www.ceochandigarh.gov.in⁠, through the ECI-NET application and on the Citizen Service Portal at voters.eci.gov.in⁠.
