DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Paramjit Singh R/o # 02 Village Kishangah Chandigarh, Dayachand R/o #, 907 Village Kishangah Chandigarh, Vijay R/o # 233, Shastri Nagar Manimajra Chandigarh, Mahesh Kumar R/o # 325, Shastri Nagar Manimajra Chandigarh, Dhanu R/o # 401, Shastri Nagar Manimajra Chandigarh and Shiva Gayakwar R/o # 125 Phase 3 Bapu Dham Chandigarh from near Railway line, Manimajra Chandigarh on 24-08-2026, while playing dara satta and recovered cash Rs. 66,680/- from their possession. A Case FIR No.77 U/S 13/A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh. During the investigation accused persons later on bailed out. Action against Excise Act
DCC of Chandigarh Police arrested Jaiswal Mukesh R/o # 64 near Kheda Mandir Kishangarh Chandigarh from near fish market Shastri Nagar road on 23-08-2026 and recovered 350 quarters of country made liquor janta santra from his possession. A case FIR No.78 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in Police Station It Park Chandigarh. During the investigation, the accused person was later on bailed out. Victim got sustained injuries and admitted in GMSH-16 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
