The complainant alleged that the accused persons cheated her of Rs. 3,50,000/- regarding a visa. Investigation of the case is in progress.
A Case FIR No. 132 u/s 318(4), 61(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered at Police Station-36, Chandigarh, on the complaint of Yashu Deep Singh, against L.F.S. Protector of Emigrates, Chandigarh, RPO Building, SCO No. 28-32, 4th Floor, Sector-34/A, Chandigarh, and others. The accused allegedly cheated the complainant of Rs. 2,00,000/- on the pretext of providing a job in Azerbaijan. Investigation of the case is in progress.
ACCIDENT
A Case FIR No. 131 u/s 125(A), 281 BNS has been registered at Police Station-36, Chandigarh, regarding a road accident involving an unknown vehicle. The vehicle, bearing registration CH-01AJ-5479, was allegedly involved in an accident near Sector-41/42 Light Point on 07.08.2026, in which the driver sustained injuries and was admitted to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
THEFT
A Case FIR No. 125 u/s 305(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station-39, Chandigarh, on the complaint of Ashish Singh S/o Om Parkash R/o #57, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh, against an unknown person. The accused allegedly stole the complainant’s Aadhaar Card, ATM Card, DL, RC and vehicle No. CH-01BG-0882, along with cash amounting to Rs. 3,500/- and other documents, from Pro Ultimate Gym, SCO No. 174-75, Sector-38/C, Chandigarh, on 08.08.2026
