Chandigarh, 31.07.26: To help students make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures, St. Joseph's Senior Secondary School organised a Career Counselling Session for the students of Classes XI and XII.
The session was conducted by Mr. Rajeev Markanday, a distinguished career counsellor with over two decades of experience. An accomplished author, engaging speaker, expert communicator and renowned verbal linguist, he provided valuable insights into the rapidly evolving career landscape. He guided students on emerging career opportunities, higher education pathways and various competitive entrance examinations, including CUET, CLAT and other national-level entrance tests. He explained their eligibility criteria, examination patterns, preparation strategies and the diverse career opportunities they open up. He also highlighted the essential skills required to succeed in today's competitive world and encouraged students to identify their interests, strengths and aptitude before making important career decisions.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation as students raised thoughtful questions on higher education, competitive examinations and long-term career planning.
