Disobedience to lawful orders issued by public Servants

A case FIR No. 65 U/S 223 BNS has been registered in Police Station Industrial area Chandigarh against hotel manager bablu R/o # 236 Village koti distt shimla and hotel owner Arun Sharma R/o # 21 Village Dariya Chandigarh . During the checking of hotel 21, Village Dariya, the manager was failing to maintain proper visitor entries in the hotel register. Thus manager violated order no. dm/ma/2026/2485 dated 13-05-2026 issued by the district magistrate (dm) Chandigarh . Both accused manager Bablu and owner Arun Sharma were arrested and later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Arms Act

Chandigarh police arrested Vishal R/o # 2082, Mauli Jagran Chandigarh from near Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan Mauli Jagran Chandigarh on 14-07 2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A case FIR No. 97 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Mauli jagran Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested using fake number plate

A case FIR No. 111 U/S 341(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh against Raghav R/o # 151 Village Palsora Sector-55 Chandigarh near beat box Village Palsora Sector-55 Chandigarh on 15-07-2026 along with motor cycle bearing fake number plate no. CH-01-CR-6733 where as original number is CH-01-CH-9926. During the investigation accused was later on bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Cyber Cheating

A case FIR No. 97 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber crime Chandigarh on the complaint of girl R/o # , Sector-40 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant’s approximately Rs. 3,62,729/- regarding investment fraud on telegram. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case 98 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunil kumar R/o # 1445/1 Nagla Mohala Manimajra Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant’s approximately Rs. 2,45,000/- regarding impersonating a known on facebook. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 99 U/S 318(4), 319(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber crime Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # Sector-48 Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated with complainant’s approximately Rs. 2,10,611.74/- regarding a call from unknown number pretended to be an employee of Ongc Bandhan. Investigation of this case is in progress.
