Chandigarh15.07.26-, In a significant step towards strengthening India–UK engagement, the Chairman of the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Chandigarh Chapter, Dr. Rupesh Singh, today met Alba Smeriglio, British Deputy High Commissioner at Chandigarh and formally invited her to grace the 7th Entrepreneur & Achiever Awards 2026 as the Guest of Honour. Those other key members present on the occasion include Secretary Sudeep Rawat, Mohit Bansal and Pallav Kumar.

During the cordial meeting, Dr. Singh briefed Smeriglio about the annual awards, jointly organized by the Media Federation of India (MFI) and PRCI Chandigarh Chapter which recognize outstanding entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, professionals and social changemakers for their exceptional contributions across diverse sectors.

Smeriglio appreciated the initiative to celebrate entrepreneurial excellence and acknowledged the importance of such platforms in promoting innovation, leadership and international cooperation.

The 7th Entrepreneur & Achiever Awards 2026 will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM at the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sector 31, Chandigarh. The event will be graced by Punjab Governor and UT Chandigarh Administrator Shri Gulab Chand Kataria as the Chief Guest.
