चण्डीगढ़, 03.07.26- : लॉयंस क्लब चंडीगढ़ रेडियंस की ओर से चार्टर नाइट समारोह का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। समारोह में पूर्व डिस्ट्रिक्ट गवर्नर लॉयन आर.के. राणा मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम के दौरान क्लब के विभिन्न पदाधिकारियों एवं सदस्यों को समाज सेवा और क्लब के प्रति उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। क्लब के अध्यक्ष एमजेएफ लॉयन एडवोकेट करण एस. गिल तथा सचिव लॉयन सीए धीरज कुमार को "पिलर ऑफ लॉयनिज्म" स्मृति चिह्न प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया। वहीं क्लब के कोषाध्यक्ष लॉयन डॉ. आर.के. गुप्ता को उनके उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए "द लॉयन ऑफ द ईयर अवॉर्ड" से सम्मानित किया गया।
इसके अलावा लॉयन इंजीनियर आर.जे. पांडेय, लॉयन प्रो. गुरमेल सिंह और लॉयन बी.डी. घावरी को "हाइएस्ट अप्रिसिएशन अवॉर्ड" प्रदान किया गया। समारोह में लॉयन सुखदेव सिंह, पंकज कुमार, परवीन कुमार, अरविंदर सिंह सोढ़ी, वीना गिल, रश्मि महाजन, विक्रम वर्मा, राजवीर जस्सल, अंकुश सचदेवा और कमलेश गुप्ता को उनके उत्कृष्ट कार्यों के लिए "अवार्ड ऑफ एक्सीलेंस" से सम्मानित किया गया।
इसके अतिरिक्त लॉयन सुमित गुप्ता, कंवलजीत सिंह, एच.एस. ढिल्लों, जसविंदर सिंह लुबाना, सुनीता जस्सल, आरव सिंह, हरजीत सिंह सिद्धू, तुषार सिंह गिल और नेतर सिंह को "अवार्ड ऑफ अप्रिसिएशन" प्रदान कर उनके योगदान की सराहना की गई।
मुख्य अतिथि आर.के. राणा ने अपने संबोधन में क्लब की समाज सेवा गतिविधियों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि लॉयंस क्लब विश्वभर में मानव सेवा के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रहा है। उन्होंने सभी सम्मानित सदस्यों को बधाई देते हुए भविष्य में भी सेवा कार्यों को और अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से जारी रखने का आह्वान किया। चार्टर नाइट समारोह सौहार्दपूर्ण वातावरण में संपन्न हुआ, जहां क्लब के सदस्यों ने समाज सेवा के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई और भविष्य में भी जनहित के कार्यों को निरंतर आगे बढ़ाने का संकल्प लिया।

Chandigarh: The Lions Club Chandigarh Radiance organised a grand Charter Night ceremony. Former District Governor Lion R.K. Rana attended the event as the Chief Guest. During the ceremony, various office-bearers and members of the club were honoured for their outstanding contribution to social service and their dedication to the club. Club President MJF Lion Advocate Karan S. Gill and Secretary Lion CA Dheeraj Kumar were presented with the prestigious "Pillar of Lionism" memento in recognition of their exemplary service. Club Treasurer Lion Dr. R.K. Gupta was honoured with the "Lion of the Year Award" for his remarkable contribution.

In addition, Lion Er. R.J. Pandey, Lion Prof. Gurmel Singh, and Lion B.D. Ghawri received the "Highest Appreciation Award." Lion Sukhdev Singh, Pankaj Kumar, Parveen Kumar, Arvinder Singh Sodhi, Veena Gill, Rashmi Mahajan, Vikram Verma, Rajveer Jassal, Ankush Sachdeva, and Kamlesh Gupta were honoured with the "Award of Excellence" for their exceptional work.Furthermore, Lion Sumit Gupta, Kanwaljit Singh, H.S. Dhillon, Jaswinder Singh Lubana, Sunita Jassal, Aarav Singh, Harjit Singh Sidhu, Tushar Singh Gill, and Netar Singh were presented with the "Award of Appreciation" in recognition of their valuable contributions.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Lion R.K. Rana lauded the club's social service initiatives and said that Lions Clubs continue to play a significant role in humanitarian service across the world. He congratulated all the awardees and encouraged them to continue their service activities with even greater dedication and impact in the future. The Charter Night ceremony concluded in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with club members reaffirming their commitment to community service and resolving to continue undertaking welfare initiatives for the benefit of society.
