Chandigarh, 01.07.2026:The Chandigarh Red Cross organized a Blood Donation Camp at Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Chandigarh on 01.07.2026 under the guidance of Sh Nishant Kumar Yadav, IAS, DC-cum-Chairman, Chd Red Cross.

The camp was inaugurated by Hon’ble Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan, Hayana Vidhan Sabha, Chandigarh. He was welcomed by Ms. Punam Malik, Nodal Officer-cum-Superintendent, Red Cross. Other senior officers, Sh. Pankaj, IAS, Sh. Rajiv Prashad, Secretary, Haryana Vidhan Sabha and MLAs from 08 different constituencies of Haryana were also present on the occasion to encourage the noble cause.

A team from GMCH-32, Chandigarh was present during the camp for blood collection and to ensure smooth conduct of blood donation process.

Vishvas Foundation provided refreshments and gifts to the donors, contributing to the success of camp. The camp witnessed an enthusiastic response from donors, with more than 122 units of blood collected.

The Chandigarh Red Cross, expresses its gratitude to all voluntary blood donors, Vishvas Foundation, other officers and officials who contributed to the success of the camp.
