A Case FIR No. 54 u/s 311, 351(2), 351(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station 31 on the complaint of Sh. Mahendra Sah R/o #376, PH-2 Ram Darbar, Chandigarh. He reported that one unknown person snatched a silver chain, cash Rs. 200-300 and Aadhaar card at knife point near PH-2 Ram Darbar on 29.03.2026.during investigation accused Deepak @ lala r/o 3174 mauli jagran Chandigarh has been arrested. Investigation is in progress.
One arrested under Excise Act
A Case FIR No. 7 u/s 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Mauli Jagran against Ankur R/o #1900 Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. He was arrested near Kachha Rasta towards Residential Area Barrier Colony, Raipur Khurd on 29.03.2026 at about 10:00 PM and found in possession of 69 quarters of country-made liquor. Investigation is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 51 u/s 109(1), 115(2), 190, 191(2), 191(3), 351(3) BNS has been registered at Police Station 36 on the complaint of a lady R/o #452, Sunny Enclave, Mohali. She alleged that Jeet Singh and other associates threatened and attacked her and other persons near Mataur Barrier during a meeting of Qaumi Insaaf Morcha on 30.03.2026. Investigation is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 38 u/s 304(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station 39 on the complaint of Sh. Harpreet Singh R/o #1027A, Sec-41B, Chandigarh. He reported that unknown person(s) stole mobile phones, one HP laptop and cash Rs. 4000 from his house between 28.03.2026 to 30.03.2026. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 23 u/s 304(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station 49 on the complaint of a lady R/o # Sec-51A, Chandigarh. She reported that two unknown bike riders snatched one gold ear ring near Sec-51A on 30.03.2026. Investigation is in progress.
