Chandigarh-26.03.26-Members of the National Human Rights and Anti-Corruption Force (NHRACF), Chandigarh, led by its President Sh. Kamaljit Singh Panchhi, met Dr. Ravneet Kaur Bedi, Director Principal of Government Medical College and Hospital Sector 32, to extend their warm greetings and congratulate her on assuming charge of the prestigious institution. The delegation presented her with a bouquet and conveyed their best wishes for her tenure. During the interaction, the members highlighted several issues concerning patient care and hospital infrastructure.
The members also raised concerns regarding inadequate parking facilities, shortage of lifts for patients and attendants, and poor maintenance of hospital infrastructure, which collectively caused inconvenience to patients and their families. Dr. Ravneet Kaur Bedi gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that she would look into the issues on priority and make sincere efforts to ensure that patients and their attendants do not face difficulties during treatment or otherwise.
The NHRACF team also shared an awareness poster aimed at educating the public about the adverse social impact of begging. The initiative encourages citizens to refrain from giving cash to beggars and instead promote responsible ways of helping the needy.
