Chandigarh Police arrested Veerpal R/o # 106, Phase-2 BDC Sector 26 Chandigarh near community centre BDC Sector 26 Chandigarh on 18.03.2026 and recovered one kamanidar knife from his possession. A Case FIR No 35 U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 26 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One person arrested in Robbery Case

A Case FIR No 34 U/S 309(4) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of one lady R/o # Maloya Colony Chandigarh against unknown person who threatened her and snatched away her mobile phone from Sector 39/40 Light point on 18.03.2026. During the investigation the accused person namely Satnam R/o # 1896, Safida Colony Nayagaon, District Mohali Punjab was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

A Case FIR No. 42 U/S 118(1), 126(2), 351(3), 3(5) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manoj Singh Rawat R/o # 3147/B Sector 52 Chandigarh against unknown motor cyclist they attacked on complainant near D-park Sector 52 Chandigarh on 17-03-2026. Victim Sustained Injuries got admitted to GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A Case FIR No 43 U/S 319(2), 318(4), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Cyber Crime Sector 17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Maninder Singh R/o # 75 Gali no 5, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra Chandigarh against unknown person who cheated complainant for Rs. 1,58, 500/- by online fraud. Investigation of this case is in progress.
