CHANDIGARH,19.03.26-Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for online admission in respect of all notified programmes offered in ODL and Online mode except for Semester based, Merit - based and Certificate Programmes and online Re-registration with late fee of Rs. 200/- of all Masters and Bachelors except for Semester based programmes offered in ODL and Online mode for the session January, 2026 session till 30^th March, 2026.

Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Center Chandigarh informed that interested applicants can apply through online link for admission to any Masters, Bachelors, PG Diploma and Diploma programmes of their choice: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ which is available on IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.

Dr. Bhanu Pratap Singh, Senior Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre Chandigarh has further informed that students should re-registered to the subsequent year/semester till 30^th March, 2026 with late fee of Rs. 200/- for January, 2026 session to continue their study. For Re-registration process the candidate has to register himself/herself (if not registered) on the official website i.e. https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ . Whereas those who have already registered can simply login with the id- password and fill up the registration and submit the requisite fees online. In case a learner faces any difficulty he/she can approach the RC Chandigarh office for support.
