*Energy Minister Anil Vij Releases ₹50 Lakh from Discretionary Fund for Construction of New Classrooms at Rangiya Mandi Government School in Ambala Cantonment*
Chandigarh, March 13: Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh.Anil Vij has released ₹50 lakh from his discretionary fund for the construction of new classrooms at the Government Senior Secondary School in Rangiya Mandi, Ambala Cantonment.
The minister said that the school currently faces a shortage of space for students, making it necessary to construct additional classrooms. The new rooms will help accommodate students more comfortably and are expected to benefit hundreds of students studying at the school.
Following the release of the funds, Ambala Sadar Municipal Council Vice-Chairman and local councillor Lalta Prasad, along with the school’s Principal Kavita Jain, and school representatives Sanjeev Kumar, Ashish Kumar, Devender Kumar, and Bhagwant Singh, as well as local residents, expressed their gratitude to the Energy Minister for the initiative.
Classes up to the 12th standard are conducted at the Rangiya Mandi Government School, where approximately 400 students are currently enrolled. Due to limited seating space for students, the construction of additional classrooms will significantly improve the learning environment and benefit a large number of students.
*₹1 Crore Released Last Year for Renovation of Schools on Rambagh Road and in BC Bazaar*
It is noteworthy that last year Minister Anil Vij had also released ₹1 crore for the renovation and upgradation of Government Senior Secondary Schools located on Rambagh Road and in BC Bazaar. An amount of ₹50 lakh each was allocated for the two schools to support their repair and redevelopment.
