The Center for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (CSDE), Panjab University, Chandigarh, organized a two-day workshop titled “Harnessing Cyber Awareness for Digital Empowerment of Women – Safety, Support Pathways, and Career Progression” on February 26–27, 2026, under the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Gender Grant, in collaboration with ISAC.

The project is led by Prof. Suveera Gill (Principal Investigator) and Prof. Vishal Sharma (Co-Principal Investigator). The workshop focused on digital safety, reporting mechanisms, and cybersecurity career pathways for women. Sessions addressed technology-facilitated gender-based violence, cyber hygiene, evidence preservation, and victim-sensitive response strategies. Experts from industry and academia participated.

A key outcome was the launch of the Women Cybersafe Club with a structured action plan for sustained engagement and safer digital spaces.
