Chandigarh, February 14:- A review meeting regarding the arrangements for the ensuing 54th Rose Festival-2026 was held today at Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, Sector-16, Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

The Commissioner took stock of the overall preparedness and reviewed the progress of arrangements being made by various departments for the smooth and successful conduct of the prestigious festival. He directed all concerned officials to ensure timely completion of works and maintain close coordination to uphold the grandeur and legacy of the annual event.

The Commissioner emphasised that all arrangements must be executed efficiently, keeping in view the convenience, safety and overall experience of visitors. He further stated that the Municipal Corporation is committed to organising the 54th Rose Festival-2026 in a well-planned and seamless manner.

He instructed the departments to adhere strictly to timelines and ensure that no aspect of preparation remains pending. Further review meetings will be conducted to monitor the progress of works.
