A case FIR No. 18 u/s 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-36, Chandigarh against Joginder @ Gogi S/o Jaipal R/o #1079-80, Pakki Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh, aged 36 years, who was apprehended near D Park, Sector-52, Chandigarh, on 13-02-2026 at about 7:15 pm, and 30.63 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession. The accused is in police lock-up.

A case FIR No. 23 u/s 318(4), 319(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Cyber Crime, Chandigarh on the complaint of Col. Deepak Katoch R/o Sector-8B, Chandigarh, alleging that an unknown person cheated him of ₹8,83,012 through a malicious APK file download.
A case FIR No. 19 u/s 318(4), 61(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-17 on the complaint of S/T Kiranjit Kaur R/o Hargobindpura, Amritsar, Punjab and others against Anubhav Garg @ Anshu and others of World Walk Immigration, SCO No. 110-111, 2nd Floor, Sector-17C, Chandigarh, alleging that they cheated the complainants of ₹34,26,300 on the pretext of sending them abroad.
A case FIR No. 20 u/s 406, 420 IPC has been registered at Police Station Sector-17 Chandigarh on the complaint of Lucky R/o Janta Hair Dresser, Sector-23, Chandigarh against Rakesh Kumar R/o Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, alleging that he cheated him of ₹1,00,000 on the pretext of providing a job to his son.
A case FIR No. 21 u/s 318(4), 61(2) BNS & 24 Immigration Act has been registered at Police Station Sector-17 on the complaint of Chandan Yadav R/o Village Dhaska, District Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh and others against Karan Kant R/o #4, Guru Nanak Enclave, Mundi Kharar, Mohali, Punjab, Destination Fever SCO No. 1096-97, 2nd Floor, Sector-22B, Chandigarh and owner of Star Immigration Company, Sector-17D, Chandigarh and others, alleging that they cheated the complainants of ₹4,10,600 on the pretext of sending them abroad.
A case FIR No. 24 u/s 316(2), 318(4), 61(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-34 on the complaint of woman R/o Jalandhar Bye-pass, Ward No. 25, Ludhiana, Punjab, against Shalika Wadhwa R/o The Sapphire Immigration Company, Chandigarh, alleging that she cheated the complainant of ₹5,40,000 on the pretext of sending her abroad.
A case FIR No. 17 u/s 316(2), 318(4) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Bhupinder Nagpal R/o Sector-35D, Chandigarh, against Manish Kumar S/o Ram Ji Lal R/o #1127, Sector-28, Panchkula (Haryana), alleging that he cheated the complainant of ₹3,00,000 on the pretext of selling property. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft
A case FIR No. 22 u/s 303(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sandeep r/o Sector-27C, Chandigarh, aged 40 years, alleging that an unknown person stole away one gold necklace weighing 25.706 grams from his shop SCO No. 125-126, Sector-17C, Chandigarh, on 05-05-2025 at about 2:04 pm.
A case FIR No. 20 u/s 303(2), 351(2), 317(2) BNS has been registered at Police Station Sector-19 on the complaint of Kunal Mulwani aged 43 years against Karan Singh R/o #69, Indira Awas Colony, Phase-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, aged 35 years, alleging that he stole bricks and AC pipe from house No. 3, Sector-21A, Chandigarh, on the night intervening 12/13-02-2026, by loading the material into E-rickshaw No. CH-01TC-0901. The accused has been arrested and is in police lock-up.
Accident
A case FIR No. 30 u/s 281, 125(A) BNS has been registered at Police Station Manimajra, Chandigarh on the complaint of Karan Anand R/o Sector-11, Panchkula (Haryana), aged 28 years, alleging that the driver of an unknown vehicle hit his motorcycle No. HR-71M-3202 near Housing Board Light Point, Manimajra, Chandigarh, on 11-02-2026 at about 10:15 pm, as a result of which he sustained injuries and was admitted to PGI.
