Two arrested in Theft Case

A Case FIR No 14 U/S 305 BNS & Added 317(2), 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Subash Chander R/o # 982 Sector 41/A Chandigarh against unknown person who stolen away complainant 1 silver chain, 1 silver coin, 1 pair gold ear ring, 1 pair silver payal, 1 pair gold sahara and some cash from his house after broken lock on 26.01.2026.During the investigation Taukir Hussain R/o # Village Malya, District Hardoi (UP) and one lady were arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Five arrested in consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Basant Kumar R/o # 1505 Setor 11 Chandigarh near Shiv Mandir Sector 24 Chandigarh while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR no 23 U/S 68-1/B PP Act & 355 has been registered in Police Station Sector 11 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Aditya R/o # 1777 Setor 52 Chandigarh, Yadvinder Singh R/o # 2056 Sector 52 Chandigarh and Ranjit Singh R/o # 753 Village Badmajra Mohali Punjab while they were drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No 16 U/S 68-1/B PP Act & 355 has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Manish Chadda R/o # 6266/A Setor-56 Chandigarh near R/o # 6266/A Setor 56 Chandigarh while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR no 15 U/S 68-1/B PP Act & 355 has been registered in Police Station Sarangpur Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.
