Chandigarh, December 25:- The Municipal Corporation Chandigarh today intensified its city-wide enforcement drive against illegal vendors and unauthorized commercial activities, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining public order, cleanliness, and smooth traffic movement across the city.

During the comprehensive enforcement action conducted today, Municipal Corporation enforcement teams issued 115 challans to illegal vendors operating in various parts of the city.

The drive was carried out systematically to ensure strict compliance with municipal regulations and to prevent encroachments on public spaces.
In addition, the enforcement drive against the illegal car bazaar at Manimajra Sector-13 was continued.

As part of the action, five vehicles were impounded for violating municipal norms and operating without authorization. The operation aimed to curb unauthorized commercial activities that cause traffic congestion and inconvenience to residents.
