Dharamshala:04.12.25-On the completion of three years of the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh, Bharatiya Janata Party Himachal Pradesh organized a historic and massive protest demonstration at Zorawar Stadium, Dharamshala under the powerful slogan
“Three Years of Administrative Collapse – Change, Change the Corrupt Congress Government.”

The movement was led by BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal. The massive turnout of thousands of party workers and citizens clearly conveyed that the people of Himachal Pradesh are no longer willing to tolerate the lies, corruption and misgovernance of the present Congress government.
Senior leaders present on the occasion included BJP State In-charge Shrikant Sharma, Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon, Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur, former State President Suresh Kashyap, MPs Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Indu Goswami and Dr. Sikandar Kumar, former Speaker Vipin Parmar, State General Secretary Bihari Lal Sharma, Sanjeev Katwal, Payal, Sudhir Sharma, Trilok Kapoor, all BJP MLAs, office bearers and thousands of workers.
Shrikant Sharma: “Public Anger Echoes with ‘Radhe–Radhe’, Congress’ False Government Exposed”
BJP State In-charge Shrikant Sharma began his address with the chant of “Radhe–Radhe,” taking a sharp dig at the Chief Minister’s alleged anti-Sanatan mindset. He said that Sanatan culture does not belong to anyone alone; it is the faith of millions and cannot be suppressed.
He reminded the crowd of Congress’ 2022 election guarantees and asked:
“Have women received ₹1500? Has milk procurement increased? Have the youth got jobs?”
The entire stadium roared back in one voice: “Nothing has been given!”
He said the Congress government is dishonest, deceitful and built on false promises. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s disaster relief assistance of ₹5,500 crore and an additional ₹1,500 crore, he said that while the Centre extended full support, the Congress only played politics.
He further stated that a former tea-seller Prime Minister has today elevated India’s pride across the world, while the Congress has worked to sell both the nation and Himachal. Attacking the top Congress leadership, he said that Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are out on bail in alleged scam cases and public money was siphoned off through the National Herald.
He announced firmly:
“In 2027, BJP will forfeit Congress’ security deposit booth by booth.”
Dr. Rajeev Bindal: “This Is Not a Rally, It Is a Public Explosion Against Misrule”
BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal said that this gathering is not merely a rally but an outburst of public anger against Congress’ failed governance. He stated that the government which came to power in the name of “system change” has in fact collapsed the entire administrative system of Himachal.
He accused the Congress government of blocking BJP workers through barricades and roadblocks, amounting to the murder of democracy. He alleged that Kangra and other regions have been betrayed, land is being sold off, a conspiracy is underway to shift the Central University, youths are being deprived of employment and women have been cheated.
Roaring with confidence, he declared:
“BJP will come like a storm and wipe out Congress completely.”
Anurag Thakur: “Three Years of ‘Eat-Drink-Enjoy’ Government”
Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur said the present government is not a government of development but a government of luxury, corruption and enjoyment. Pensioners and employees are being mocked and forced to agitate for their rightful dues.
Calling the Congress a “modern-day Kaurava army,” he said the government is pushing Himachal towards destruction. He added that the Congress snatched away the Special Category Status given by BJP, stalled central projects, and failed to deliver even basic facilities in districts like Sirmaur.
He announced that all 10 guarantees of the Congress government, Rahul Gandhi’s so-called “Khata-Khat Model” and all promises made by Priyanka Gandhi in Himachal have completely failed.
Sanjay Tandon: “This Is Not a Rally, It Is a Public Flood”
BJP Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon said this was not just a gathering but a massive public uprising against the Congress government. Not a single guarantee has been fulfilled in three years and the public has been completely deceived.
He said that unemployment, inflation, corruption and administrative chaos have become the identity of Himachal under Congress rule. He announced that the countdown for the fall of the Congress government has begun and its departure from power is now inevitable.
Conclusion
The historic protest at Zorawar Stadium has made it absolutely clear that the people of Himachal Pradesh have rejected the Congress government for its lies, corruption and betrayal of public trust. BJP workers will now intensify their outreach booth-to-booth to expose the failures of the Congress government and ensure its defeat in 2027.
“Himachal belonged to BJP, belongs to BJP and will belong to BJP in 2027 as well.”
