Chandigarh Police arrested Amit Verma R/O # 37, Sec-27a Chandigarh from near palika bazar sector-19 on 02-12-2025, while drinking at a public place and creating nuisance. A Case FIR No 70 U/S 68-1(B) PP Act & 355 BNS has been registered in Police Station 19 Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Accident

A Case FIR No. 130 U/S 281, 125(a) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-26 Chandigarh on the complaint of lady R/o # PH-1 BDC, Sector-26 Chandigarh against driver of car no. CH-01DB-4303 namely Rajesh Kataria, R/o bdc sector-26 Chandigarh Who hit the complainant, her sister, her nephew Rajbir, Raj and one person Raju near her house on 01-12-2025, victim sustained injuries got admitted to GMSH-16 Chandigarh. investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 193 U/S 303 (2) BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector-34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Neeraj Verma R/o # 1412, Sec-22/B Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away complainant’s bag containing 2 Passport, Debit Card, Credit Card, Forex Card Of Axis Bank, Us Dollar 1200, Yen 900, 20,000 Nepali Rupees and 10-12 Diamond Ring from complainant’s tata hexa car no. CH-1BV-2394 on 29-11 2025 while parked near complainant's house. Investigation of this case is in progress.
